Now, let me start off by saying, I bought the bloody game. Although I've never been very careful or organized with cases or manuals or any of that stuff. I try, but somehow something always ends up getting lost. Anyhow, since I first installed it I've gotten a new hard drive. I wanted to load Armed Assault up on this thing, but I realized 'Damn, I don't have the CD-Key anymore.' So after frantically searching around for that blasted manual for about an hour I contemplated why the key can't just be printed straight on the disk, and finally decided to give up and go for a keygen. It's all been working sort of all right. There are a couple multiplayer servers I can't access, but I don't really mind. Just one thing that's really been bugging me. I've been trying to use the mission editor and I keep getting poofed into a seagull with the 'Good birds don't fly away from this game, I have only myself to blame' message that's apparently associated with illegal copies.
Now, everything I've got is legit, 'cept for my key. Is there someway I can disable this thing, what with access to an official disk an all? Anything? Any way at all? I really hope I don't have to go out and spend another fourty dollars just to for a series of letters and numbers. Thanks.
